Early prototypes of our Intra-Oral Protector have been proven in real life. Case studies from German clinics show the practical usefulness of our product and the prevention or reduction of radiation side effects. These can be severe, including damage to teeth and soft tissue or loss of appetite, causing impairment of the patient’s health, social life and overall wellbeing. One study showed cost savings of 25.000 EUR in one case. These were achieved by enabling a complete treatment without prolonged interruptions between individual sessions, resulting in 20 % less relapse and thus increased survival rate and decreased costs for further treatment and hospital stays.
